One of the highlights of the tour is a visit to the local preschool, where you will gain insight into early childhood education in rural Botswana. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet teachers and children, experiencing the learning environment in a natural and respectful setting. You will also be welcomed into a traditional homestead, hosted by women from the community. Together, you will share a home-cooked meal while learning about local customs, values, and everyday life. The experience is enriched with cultural elements such as traditional singing, dancing, and storytelling, offering a glimpse into the community’s heritage.
The Tsutsubega Experience is intentionally small-scale and community-centered. This ensures that interactions remain respectful and that daily life continues undisturbed, while also creating meaningful social and economic opportunities for women in the community.
